When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, message and any optional phone number or location you provide. We use these details to respond, discuss your project and prepare a quotation if requested. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a potential contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. FormSubmit is the third-party service that receives the form submission and forwards it to our business email. You can use our email address or telephone instead of the form.
Other website services
Our site hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. Our optional Google reviews widget is supplied by Jotform and loads only after you allow it. Jotform may receive technical information such as your IP address when it loads. Our site uses fonts available on your device instead of fetching Google Fonts. Links to Google, Facebook and Instagram take you to those providers' websites.
Keeping information
We retain enquiries while handling your request. If an enquiry leads to a quote or work, we retain the related correspondence as part of the job and accounting records for the applicable legal period. We review messages that do not lead to work and remove them when no longer needed for the enquiry. These are the retention criteria we currently use; contact us for the period applicable to a particular record. To ask about a particular record or request deletion, contact us using the details above.
International processing
FormSubmit, Jotform and our website and email providers may process information outside the UK. Their locations and safeguards depend on the service configuration. Contact us for details of the arrangement used for your information before sending sensitive details through the form.
