Built properly,
from the ground up.
Over 15 years of landscaping experience have taught us that the most important part of a finished garden is often the part you never see.
What goes underneath matters.
A patio can look beautiful on the day it is finished. What matters to us is how it performs through years of use and changing weather. We plan the ground preparation around each garden, choose suitable geotextile where it is needed and build up the base with quality quarried aggregate. We compact it in layers using substantial diesel plate compactors appropriate to the job. That groundwork gives the paving above the best possible start.
Details that help the finish last.
We use a suitable priming slurry on the back of paving slabs to help create a reliable bond, including natural stone where the product and installation call for it. For joints, we use Flowpoint on natural stone and porcelain paving, or Mapei tile grout on porcelain where that finish is the right choice. We choose the jointing method for the paving and conditions, then pay the same attention to drainage and installation beneath it. It is the whole build that matters, not one product in isolation.
Why our quote may be different.
Two quotations can describe the same finished patio while allowing for very different preparation, materials and time on the job. We will explain the work beneath the surface and the products we propose, so you can see what you are paying for. We do not cut corners to match the lowest price. Our aim is a garden you can enjoy for years, with fewer avoidable problems later.
A team you can rely on.
We take pride in careful workmanship, clear communication and respect for your property. From the first conversation to the final clean-up, you can expect a professional team that wants to get the details right and leave you with work we are proud to put our name to.
